This team is once again playing unbelievable football. The hardest part for Flick is to keep up this intensity what Barca has now. The break helped us a lot.. But I have to say first half of the season we didn't have almost any bench so it hurt the starters too. Now we have pretty decent squad minus few positions where we could use a backup.

Give Flick squad depth and he can win everything with this team.

We're not playing the 100 miles an hour non step press of the first half season. Nor is the offside line defended on every attack.

So far since the re-start we have been slightly more pragmatic, more variation, and back to smashing sides.

I reckon we return to the 100% press against the top sides in CL knockout, but seems now that we have Olmo and spectacular Gavi (compared to his injury layoff, he has exceeded expactation) there is definitely more room to manoevre.

If we can somehow add a little bit of relief for Raphi or Lamine, then great things are coming.

No you are right, only a couple weeks ago he was a bum, bumsi, a fraud or whatever after a tricky spell. Although its not really uncommon in these kind of clubs with global fanbases. Problem is these days people feel the need to nail the colours to a particular managers mast and therefore feel like they can't support the next guy in case he might be better or whatever or hold them to different standards.

Better idea would be to stop hanging off a particular manager/players ballbag and support the club.

I saw lot of intense running and pressing against Betis, as well as the high line.

Nothing changed in the approach.

Nah the line had definitely been a bit deeper the last two games.

Players aren't just running for the sake of it the last two games either.

All we were asking for.

1. He played as LW at the euros most times he was on the pitch their was an established striker, he was tried their for a few minutes.

2. No great success at the euros, Spain won 2 games the entire tournament, both of which olmo didn't start.
