BREAKING: Barcelona have now scored 100 goals under Hansi Flick. #FCB

Let's pull up the books to see attacking records per season in all comps.
This season is going to hit one it seems

CORRECTION:
It's 101 goals in 32 games in all comps.
That's 3.15 goals per game SO FAR
Which means we are looking for a season with a total of 167-185 goals depending on how many games we will play in cups

Recent history:
23/24: 110 in 53 games -> 2.07 G/game
22/23: 101 in 53 games -> 1.9 G/game
21/22: 86 in 53 games -> 1.62 G/game
20/21: 122 in 54 games -> 2.26 G/game
19/20: 110 in 51 games -> 2.15 G/game
18/19: 138 in 60 games -> 2.3 G/game
17/18: 141 in 59 games -> 2.39 G/game
16/17: 171 in 59 games -> 2.9 G/game
15/16: 173 in 62 games -> 2.79 G/game
14/15: 176 in 61 games -> 2.88 G/game
13/14: 151 in 61 games -> 2.47 G/game
12/13: 160 in 62 games -> 2.58 G/game
11/12: 192 in 66 games -> 2.9 G/game
10/11: 152 in 62 games -> 2.45 G/game
09/10: 138 in 60 games -> 2.3 G/game
08/09: 158 in 62 games -> 2.54 G/game

I stopped before Pep.
Ladies and Gents, we are having the BEST EVER season in the history of Futball Club Barcelona in terms of goals per game!!
(I don't think it will be easy to find any other season before Pep and before Messi with such attacking potency)

We are probably going to have on of the best in terms of total goal tally. Only that 11/12 season with the 192 goals will be hard to surpass. But that was in 66 games, which we won't get to this season no matter how far we reach.

THANK YOU HERR MEISTER HANS-DIETER FLICK!!!!

Imagine he does all of that but because he can't organize a defense we win zero?.

Let's hope that's not the case.

Its his first season even if he doesn’t win shit this season he clearly built a foundation we can build on.

Imagine if you give this guy a competent striker like Isak who can actually run and press and a good winger to rest Raphina or Yamal if needed.

Backup for Kounde and Balde. Then add those guys and we would have a pretty nice team. Add good goalkeeper for our purposes too.

I hope this genius alpha boss with incredible vision stays with us for a long long time. Stay with us like Guardiola did for Man City :wub:

Our only problem is scoring in some games. The ones we lost were mostly due to that, except a couple of them low block MFing games.

We need to sharpen up the strikers and forwards and we will win it all.
And figure out how to penetrate low blocks.
3-5-2 like what flick did agaisnt Benfica might be one way, or a false 9 with Olmo/Fermin at top might be another. But we need to figure low blocks out.

If we achieve this we should be unstoppable.

The point tally doesn't tell the whole story.

This team under Flick has huge potential if only it can refine its approach against the smaller teams.

I don't feel we could have gone any further under Xavi's rigid conservative type football. I feel Flick has the potential to go further.

Some of the performances this team has produced are unbelievable especially against the top teams. Our ceiling is incredibly high and that too with a squad that is not yet complete.

He's pouring his soul into this team. Looks like he aged at the speed of Vinicius since joining here.

Hope he stays longer than 3y results permitting and sees us as his legacy club builder.

Even if we end up finishing third this season, he should be given a lot of patience and time.

You don't always judge the book by its cover. We have to read till the end in this case.

The performances we've seen at times are reminiscent of MSN or Prime Barca squads with half the playing talent.

I think we went too hard start of season with too little ability to rotate. We made an overcalculation and it cost us dearly. Probably more on the fitness team who disregarded mental fatigue than Flick himself. The dip itself happened directly after smashing Bayern and Madrid within 3 days.

But if it's going to happen, have it happen early.

We can see the second half we are rotating more, and are selectively applying Heil Flick and Offside si o si

I unfortunately don't see him continuing more than 2y. Sad to say.

But if we dont re-enforce our ST, I highly suspect us to not win Copa or go deep in CL next year. 38-year-Old Lewa won't cut it come March 2026.

I hope I am wrong.
