Hansi Flick - how do we rate him?

Casado was playing 3rd league last season. Still learning. Frenkie also made blunders after coming back from long absence.
We lost Lamine for a spell and Olmo for longer. We lost our first keeper and Pena needed to step up. A bit of perspective.

Valid points but we did drop form after that Clasico and lost many points against poor teams.

But yes, team has performed above EVERY expectation from the start. Even more under the circumstances.

Not gonna complain, I was among ones who were led to believe Flick would fail.

out of 36 games in all comps so far under Hansi 'Herr Meister' Flick:

we have scored 3 or less in 20 games
we have scored 4 or more (!) in 16 games

That's basically an around 45% of the total number of games that we have scored 4 or more!!!

CRAZY STAT !!!!!

This is Barca and this is how we should play! Visca El Barca!

Also Real Madrid aren't dropping many points from here on out. They then proceeded to lose to Bilbao a few days later.
They have:

Osasuna away
Girona at home (likely a win for RM, but stranger things have happened)
Betis away
Rayo at home (likely a win for RM, but stranger things have happened)
Villarreal away

With CL between some of those. They will lose at least 5 points in those 5 games IMO.

You're welcome
Real Madrid's only decent midfielder Vasquez (apart from acient Modrić) is out for a month. They have:

Osasuna away
Girona at home
Betis away
Rayo at home
Villarreal away

With CL between some of those. They will lose at least 5 points in those 5 games IMO.

The only players who haven't improved under Flick are Fati and Araujo. It's still early days for Araujo but you can see how a proper manager improves his players and the team so much.
I had written Pedri off but Flick has taken him to a different level. Also everyone seems in sync.
Let's hope we can keep this up.

I also think Madrid will drop more points soon. Hopefully against Osasuna because they lack some players and will be between two super important high intensity UCL games.

But the biggest challenge is staying on the top not getting there. Hopefully they have learned they need to stay calm and 5-6 points of lead is nothing and can suddenly change if you don't pay enough attention.

Finally, a coach who knows how to organise the team defensively when one man down. Even with 10 men the team still posed a threat and could run into a counterattack. Barca had been lacking that for years. Although the season will show if it is just a blip or the team has really changed

Valverde is never getting injured. Pretty crazy injury history.
True. But if he did now for some reason, they would be fucked.

RM is seemingly entering a period of the season similar to our November. Loads of injuries and bad results starting to creep in in the league.

Betis and Villareal the most likely for them to drop.
Give me a draw and a loss there, and we win all of our games before the int. break including an emphatic thumbing of Pathetico at the Metropolitano
