That being said. Flicks been playing the same old previous year's team. Olmo is the only recruit who is mostly injured.
Most "Not-retarded" cules expectations from him were to be competitive and play an entertaining brand of football.

And as of now, he has been delivering on this front, I would even say exceeding it.
Give him a summer of signing, with a Striker and handful of good backups and then you can complain.

We are lucky that this season no team is stepping up to run away with it. Everyone, as well as us, are making mistakes, and dropping points frequently, so there will always be chances to enter 1st if you put some wins together.

I also feel that one of Flick's mistakes was pushing Araujo and Gavi back in too quickly and felt like we got worse after that happened.

Hansi Flick gave the team 3 days off but asked them not to do ‘stupid’ things. Flick didn't like that he gave several days off in the last week of 2024 and many players went far away from Spain.

His teams are so good at attacking that he can get away with the odd mistake, but that mistake should be pointed out.

I just can't fathom how anyone could think Gavi is a better attacking midfielder than Fermin or Olmo. I mean Gavi hasn't shown ANYTHING since coming back from injury.

If there is one weakness Don Flick has it's player judgement. Choosing Martin over Fort is another example.

Could be another case of letting him cook, but not letting him buy the ingredients.
