One day, when we get out of this poor form and when the big UCL nights finally hit in February/March, it will be very funny to come back to this thread -particuraly this run from maybe page 240 onwards and look back at how some of the guys handled a little rough patch of form.
February 17th

- 1st in the league
- UCL round of 16 (directly qualified)
- CDR semi finals
- Supercopa win

He changed it at HT to drop FDJ in to the right of Casado in the build up as Fort was labouring.

Made a big difference and FDJ/Casado/Pedri manged to multiple times get it to the front three and beat press.

The front three were just woeful other than Olmo and wasted it every time.

Cut them slack clearly though as been match winners so often.

It is true that we won through a lucky penalty. Ball wasn't going to Inigo.

Rayo's first loss in months and been Xavi's boogey team for few years.
But still Flick should have prepared better and I hope he sees these signs of complacency.

Some of these young players got too much big in their heads. Hailing Balde as top lb in the world every few weeks or crowning Lamine as best in the world in September. It's not doing them any favor.

Yup.
Bad game, and some players need benching every now and then

One but these are the games that wins us titles.

Average game, take the W and walk away

I agree about the benching.

Think he could have made different subs are earlier as well to change things up.

But is what it is.

Good tactical change at HT to use FDJ and Cubarsi to improve way beat press.

Only so much can do when front three fail constantly to take advantage when those players and Pedri got them ball in space.

Olmo the exception.
