I blame you for this shite tbh. You always make fun of Atletico and Simeone.

I do because they will never win something important

There are simply here just to fuck up the run of a good team, like they did with Inter last CL, only to ridiculously and embarrassedly implode next round

No you need to score more goals than your opponent.
Ferran and Lewandowski should mininmum score 4 combined, instead they scored 1. Some would call that problematic. We're talking 2 1 on 1 with the keeper and a tap in missed which is unacceptable.
We're not shooting a western here lad.

And why not? They had huge chances themselves. Probably had like 5-6 sitters or huge chances. Before scoring 4-4 Correa missed a 1 vs 1. People always miss those when they analyze games.

They had only Correa's chance apart form the goals, which chance was likely offside and VAR would have recalled it

Bruh , realistically this game should have been a 7-3 for us or something of that sort but Simeone bullshited his way towards a draw.

If , after such a game put by the team , we still don't win....then it's likely over.
Atleti had a couple of other 1v1s. It's not over get a fucking grip ffs. It's just a draw. Cumulatively, when you add the first 10 min and the last 20, we only played well for 65 mins of the game. We didn't deserve to win

Pedri not very happy in the post-match interview. Said these type of collapses have happened before in the league as well and that they need to improve.
Should rightfully be fuming. Someone needs to be able to take the reins when he leaves the pitch 2 goals ahead.

Don't think it's anything to do with the defence. If you take out Olmo and Pedri for Fermin and Gavi you trade keeping hold of the ball for random bursts of energy and the occasional hopeful run into the box. Not what the game needed.

Still think we go through, Atletico aren't all that and hopefully Flick has learned his lesson tonight.

This. Said similar.

You see the issue. And then you have the fullbacks knackered for the last 20, with zero backups.

It is what it is.

Lost possession, lost the shape, lost control, and with fatigued backs behind. Of which, Kounde was having a stinker.

Ehm, they already did. They won 2 league titles.

I am talking about the last 5-8 years
2021 they only won because both MAdrid and Barca decided to collapse and hand it to them.
Spain has only 2 contenders.
When both collapse, yes simeone might be able to take advantage

Not taking them seriously

Yup Kounde directly responsible for 2nd and 4th goal, as well as making couple dangerous passes that could have very well caused more goals too

I don't remember the start of the play, but in 3rd goal it looked like he was late to recover his position, which forced Frenkie on the right, and left the area in front of the box wide open.

The collapse was more abrupt because Flick fecked up the subs. But the tactics have do be adjusted when the intensity drops. And we just keep playing the same way as if it's min 30. You either up the physical level to play 90 mins on ultra intensity, or you adjust the tactics midgame.
