Epic start for Flick but now he has what seems to be an unsolvable dilemma with Ter Stegen out, i hope it doesn't cost him his job

How the hell did they sack him at Bayern?
He was not sacked. He stopped because he did not get around with Salihamidzic. And with him his assistants Danny Röhl (now coach at Sheffield Wednesday) , Miroslav Klose and Hermann Gerland (who has been assistant coach with van Gaal, Heynckes, Guardiola, Ancelotti...) went on principle.

Technically he was sacked. But Flick wanted to be sacked, he did everything possible, because he wanted Löw's job at the NT. He insulted Salihamidiz infront of the entire team, he started to argue with everyone at Bayern and the sporting results in his second year weren't that great either, especially their defense sucked. So it was a mix of Flick leaving and Bayern sacking him. But the whole process was initiated by Flick, because he wanted to get out.

That is bullocks. He told the players in the match at Wolfsburg that he is going to leave the club in summer because he wanted them to hear it from him and not from other sources - only after that he told it the club and the press. You actually can see that in the FC Bayern prime video from the sextuple season.

(if somebody is interested and has Amazon prime - but it might hurt as the 2:8 is in there, too)
It is available in English. I just could not find that short part of the film in English...

The Boss is cooking!!!

Man, this guy has balls of steel and absolute conviction in his way of playing.
Most managers would be much more conservative, given our injuries.
He certainly deserves to get some transfers in January. A new keeper for sure.

Not a good look for Xavi tbf. Wonder what he is thinking watching these games. Obviously happy in a way.

Xavi will get there. At start of his managerial career.

I think he is happy with Barca wins but also surprised and probably thinking the collapse will happen sooner or later.
Maybe he is thinking some players didn't give their 100% under him. Who knows?

I don't see the collapse happening. Except if more injuries. Especially on Lamine, Rapha, Pedri.

He seems to be handling smaller clubs well even with these crappy squads. We'll see about Bayern and Madrid though, but a lot of players will be back by then.
