We ran 116 km. A good number.. I was surprised to see bayern (124 km!) Vs Inter (123 km!).

Both teams are fit as fuck boiyy

Real vardrid ran a meagre 102
Dortmund didn't give us a battle in midfield and possession.

Teams run more in more evenly matched contests than blowouts.

We usually average 115-120km in CL under Flick and sometimes 125+ (v Bayern earlier).

We'll win the CL with Hansi.

Neither Inter or Bayern are our level. Albeit, Inter are a menace, but this Barca is literally built to breakdown teams like Inter.

I'd bet we'd beat PSG or Arsenal in the final too.

As usual, people here are very optimistic. This is a team that hasn't won a CL in a decade now (wow time flies!!!). No doubt Hansi has transformed this team and brought out its best qualities, but we're still very young and all very inexperienced at this stage of the CL (except for the Poles).

Inter, I've watched them quite a bit this season and it's very solid team. They are the most disciplined squad in Europe currently, yes even more so than ATM. They have great strikers in Lautaro and Thuram who don't miss too many chances. Very clinical side that's solid and to be fair, very hungry for a CL after reaching the finals two years ago. I hope Bayern pull of an upset because it's a much easier tie vs an injury ridden Bayern Munchen led by Vincent Kompany

The team I am most concerned about is PSG. They aren't the choking team of the past. Credit to Lucho because, much like Hansi, he has brought out the best from his squad. The speedsters in their attack could wreak havoc to our not so great backline. If it's a Barca vs PSG final, we will be in for a thriller.

I on the other hand, am more concerned about Inter, and happy we are meeting them for two legs. It will be easier to go past them in over 180 mins, than in 90.
QSG will be tough, but a 90-minute affair, against an open team is always better than a team that is far more organized and defensive than any other team in EU.
I think most people are concerned about QSG, not because they are scary, but because it will be a final, and they don't want them to win it. Inter, I think people can stomach a finals loss, too.

QSG will have a much quicker pace, but I think Balde and Kounde will be able to handle the wings pretty well. They surely won't be able to maintain a lot of possession. Our mid should be able to hold possession and overrun them when they get the ball. We will leak some goals, but if we are able to outperform or even maintain our xG, we should be able to win this tie pretty handily.

Of course winning the CL with a low transfer budget and our financial problem would be something that hasn't been done probably since Porto in 2004. We started as massive underdogs in this Laporta mandate, and it's building to be quite the story.

We were effectively an EL team not long ago. The improvement in a short time is insane.

Think PSG v Barca is the final neutrals (or anyone who doesn't hate either club) wants to see.

All the other combos (assuming leading teams progress) look interesting too, but these two teams seem to play the most entertaining football. Maybe they'd neutralise each other in a final and it would be a slog fest.

Accurate list.

The Bayern hate boner for Barca is next level and never made sense
Bayern (alongside Milan but they've long been in decline) are probably the third most prestigious club in the world after the Clasico sides. Plus Barca and Bayern have had some titanic clashes on the pitch, especially in the last 15 years.

It really could be that simple - that Bayern see Barca as a massive rival. Plus they've probably ate up all that rubbish that Barca are favoured by officials.

They hate Real Madrid a lot too. Elite clubs' fans tend to hate every other elite club other anyway.

It's more like Uli Höneß ranted against Barca's and Madrid's debts for decades and that rubs off on their fanbase. And since Covid, it's mostly Barca only about negative finances in German news. 4 out of 5 news in German newspapers about Barca in the last 5 years were about the bad financial situation and debts.
In Germany fans overall, especially from Bayern, connect debts with a way of cheating to get success.

True forgot that about Hoeness. He had a massive problem because of how German football clubs are run more efficiently in general.

And yeah, you are obviously privy to the German media in a way I am not. It makes sense they'd be obsessed with financials because as I said above. Leipzig are hated in Germany too because of how they were 'inorganically' made.

Germans seem to be some of the most vocal about outside investment or 'oil clubs' or debt etc.
