He was there 2 seasons

In 1st season he won sextuple

In 2nd season he had over 4xG vs PSG when he lost

I don't really think Flick is flexible at tactics, why do you? If we don't go into details he "always" plays the same 4-2-3-1 that's based on pressing, direct attack and high defensive line. He played the same at Bayern and NT. It works for now but he didn't show that he's flexible.

CRUYFF is not part of modern history.
And if FLICK wins a treble, he will absolutely be one of the GOAT managers in world football

We rely on Yamal and Rapha just as much as we did on Leo and Ney back then.

Lucho's Barca was better in defense and we were a lot better at "founding a way to win games when we have to" back then.

GOAT manager with 3-4 seasons in his career? Not for me, he would be more in the ZZ level but firstly he has to win those trophies before we talk about that. That's a big minus for Cruyff also even if he coached longer, Pep and SAF are clear for me.

Why even speculate about stuff like that already? For all we know we lose to Real tomorrow, Inter somehow shit their way through with 2 shots on goal and with the morale gone La Liga also slips away. Then, next season Real get a real coach like Klopp who makes Mbappe and Vini work and we win nothing again.

I don't like this "we've got the treble in the back so let's speculate how many more successful years Flick will stay" feeling surrounding the club currently. Nothing is won and we are very small margins away from some real doom, IIRC we lost everything at the end of 11/12 within a week against Real and Chelsea as well.

I am super optimistic for tomorrow CdR final, and convince that IF our attackers will be less selfish in front of the goal, like they used to be, we will have a good chance to beat Real very comfortable. I can’t wait to beat them again.

I am confident also. This team produces a lot of football offensively. Very hard to deal for the opponent if the team is fired up and up for it. And in a final, I expect nothing else than full focus and commitment.

This season, the team messed up mainly in moments of complacency and tiredness triggering poor intensity, and moments of very poor finishing. Vs Dortmund at 4-0 lead, and in late 2024, when for some reason the rate of missed clear chances had gone up a lot.

Think in these big games, Flick Barca is gonna show its teeth more. And they are big teeth :lol:. The only constant problem is the pressure this system adds on our defense. Operating on small margins in defense, but if offensively, we do our job... it's worth it.

Basically these next 5-7 days we are chasing something very important. Making the treble from a fan's dream to a very realistic possibility, one that is well within our reach.
