Hansi Flick - how do we rate him?

What do you mean all starters in? Araujo, Christensen, Kounde didn't play at all due to injury, and De Jong was not match fit. That's like the entire starting defense.

I'm not talking about whatever game you're clutching your straws for, but how we'll keep flopping in the CL as long as we have a mediocre GK.

I will critises Flick on his subs. He really tried to grind out a draw, which almost always bites you back.

If he just subbed in Pablo in for Lewa, at the half, I think we were playing ok enough to get out a result. Put in Ferran. Put in fresh legs. Players were tired after beng 10v11. We needed legs.

If he did, maybe who knows we might have a goal.

Madrid won C1 without striker and without Courtois.

Barca needs too many conditions to win something. That's why we will remain weak and not so dominant.

The match yesterday should have been a win. With or without injured players because you are Barça. You have to get the job done.

Actually we weren’t playing for a draw. We were playing for a win; hence why Flick didn’t change our attacking lineup after we went one man down. You can’t have it both ways: 1) criticize our team when we’re parking the bus 2) criticize our team when playing for the win when one man down. The latter takes bravery and confidence that if we attack enough, eventually a goal will come. Being one man down simply limited our ability to dominate. Compared to what we saw under Xavi’s reign, I’ll take Flick ball any day of the week, and twice on Sundays.

Also, the mistake was 100 % on Stegen. Why? For if he hadn’t made that terrible pass to Garcia, we wouldn’t have conceded. It’s as simple as that.

Monaco beat us at our own game, largely due to us being one man down. It sterilized our attack.

Great Post...waited too long for reading this simple tragedy.

What win you talking about with a striker that’s even worse than our goalie? Eto’o, Villa, Suarez fine - they could break away, was like at least 80% chance to score against the goalie… Look at Lewa’s last 2 seasons, he simply can’t lol. With 1 man down you fucking have to be clinical when you have your chance - hell in CL with 11 men you need to take like every chance you get. Lewa doesn’t, he fucks everything up. Sure yesterday Raphinha also had a bad day - but he at least scores some really nice from time to time and he’s a winger. Our 9 has to do the unexpected, be clinical etc - Lewa is shit and has been shit since the WC. He gave us a couple of good months, than shit - he scores some lame tap ins from time to time that’s it, some half-assed shots from inside the box against some weak LL team we crush. We need somebody 15 years younger than him, some athleticism and ice in their veins and hunger and technique and speed - not this garbage!

Also, Flick fucked up with Garcia and Lewa - one shouldn’t have started and the other one should have been taken off after the first half.

Ironically, his "Germans" could be the weight that drags him down if he doesn't cut that rope loose.

Not 17 yesr olds. It's his Stegen and Lewa that are the weakest links.

I don’t disagree, mate. I’m just thankful that we aren’t parking the bus when one man down. Love seeing us playing better football than over the last few years and going for it, despite being one man down. We failed here, but things could’ve been a lot different if it hadn’t been for the red card.

Again, love that we aren’t parking the bus. And they only scored two on us. That’s a positive take away.
