With the fire power that Madrid has, not to mention the standard, la Liga guaranteed 6 points they start the league with, they could easily get 100 points this season.
92 is what we need to be competitive.

I have to say a lot of the reason we were shit last season was having him in goal for so long. He cost us a lot of points.

I don't think it's Flick, it's building of the team. Real signing their dream signing, winning 2-0, okay meaningless final and us losing the last "friendly" 3-0 playing terrible football is the feeling.
Williams is what we needed and we missed out on our "Mbappe" signing. Instead we are watching this Mbappe jerking in Madrid and all over the world. It hurts deep I would say.
The fact is, Real looks good. I think they will miss Kroos and they still need a striker, but outside that their team looks very good. One of the best. Maybe the best.
They have very balanced team.Only way I see them fail, if the egos become too big.. it's possible it will happen.

At the same time, Madrid are historically bad at defending LaLiga, especially with Ancelotti who is more specialist in CL than league football.
Would back their sheer attacking power to just overwhelm most teams but who knows, some injuries here and there, some luck and we could still compete for the title.
It's also not impossible we can win Clasicos against them.
Overall I'm not expecting us to win the title but we need to stay ready and entirely focused because there is every chance we can still be in it even with less than 90 points.

It's a bit concerning that the team seems so unaccustomed and unsuitable to his football.
If we had any money this window we had to sign a DM and more physicality, we just had to.

He did something important at Bayern, he was a disaster at Germany NT. I guess we try to figure out what is the accident of the two. His stint at Bayern during covid, or his disaster-job at Germany.

Yea that's my view as well, we need to do our job against the teams we should beat and stay ready
They are favourites, they improved a lot with Mbappe, but we improved as well, not as much obviously.

Not win every, much how many did they drop last season?, with him and the refs, unless something crazy happens they will drop very few points.
Could be another pep vs mou 100 point season or close.

Even if he does reasonably well.. if Klopp or another high profile coach says they would take it can see Flick dunted for them.
