According to L’Équipe and Nice Matin, OGC Nice attacking midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa will travel to Barcelona tomorrow in order to visit the Catalan club’s training ground as discussions continue to advance between the two parties over a possible summer move.

Ben Arfa is a free agent this summer with his current contract with Les Aiglons expiring at the end of the season.

Another step in the Barca direction for HBA, even if he claimed last night that “I have not yet made up my mind” about his future destination.

Thats what we get when we p*** away 60m on Arda and Vidal because they were proven and could "contribute immediately" as we were told!

We have to look at cheap options now. Lazy Ben Arfa is good when he wants to. Will be funny if Lucho can make him run like a madman on the wing though.

Aside from the fact that he's free and there's basically little risk involved. What exactly does he bring to our style of play? His main quality seems to be dribbling but this will be no use for him anyway in a system where he'll be degraded to someone who'll play sideway passes to our lil' dictator. Neymar is an exceptional dribbler and that's where he ended up. More than half of his shots come from outside the box which is pretty much a no-no for us as well. He'll be stripped of any creative responsibility and consequently be exposed for his shortcomings (intelligence, speed of thought, work rate) which everyone knows beforehand anyways.
