I'd add that his versatility makes him even more valuable than most players at similar value...Can play in a number of positions and as we have seen, Pep places a great deal of importance on versatile players

He will definitely leave. Last year he went to see Pep with his representatives after only being at the club for a couple of months to complain about a lack of playing time. With the arrival of Sanchez he is going to play even less so I would imaging that he will demand a move. We bought him for 6 mil. I don't know where people get this 3 mil figure from, it was that muppet from Paris who came up with it first I think.

So if the price was 6m i dont think we could sell him for more than 6m now. Dont feel like his price has increased since his arrival to Barca. I still think he will stay though.

No, it was actually the official website: Agreement with PSV

2010-12-24 Barça have paid PSV 3 million Euros and the Dutch club will receive a percentage of any sell on fee. The deal also includes an agreement for Barça to play PSV in their centenary match in 2013.

Actually psv themselves have confirmed the price was between 3-4 m.

His price was always going to go up as he is now under contract with us untill 2015.. and the reason he cost 3 mill was because he only had 6 months left on his contract with psv.

Do you have a source or is it just a rumour? I have a hard time believing he thought he would start in this Barça side after only a few months. If it's the case, he was incredibly naive when he signed.
