Can't really dislike Iker for some reason.

Just seems to me all his action are driven more by the immense frustration he's bottling up than being a douche. He's been through a lot of shit, more than most of the current Madrid players.

His frustration and the shit he has to go through every day for two years now is clearly getting to him and making him burst out in some out of character, ugly behavior that will only makes him feel worse after the match. He's no doubt regretting it now. When Mou leaves a lot of pressure on him will be removed as well. I feel really bad for him. he was trying to protect his team in any way but it was the worse way possible that he chose. funny it is, that if he didn't take part in that brawl, there would be less injury time and the Alves goal wouldn't have even happened, not that I'm complaining though!

To be honest, I thought Lass first yellow was so soft but my heart dropped for the second foul. The way Casillas intervened was classic Xavi. Absolutely phenomenal performance to keep Lass on the pitch. I always thought he was a not-so-good captain, but the way he protects his players now a days is deserving of a standing ovation.

Exactly! Casillas do his duty as the captain perfectly, keeping his thugs team-mates from getting sent off left and right. He's such a class act compare to all the dirty games your club and your coach has been playing all along in these 1 and a half seasons.

I would not call him a douchebag but sure, he has changed a bit under the Translator but I respect him as a professional and he seems like a good guy off the field.

ive also got to agree with the general feeling here. casillas is often an oddity, in that he seems at most times a reasonable footballer surrounded by baboons
