People I said it above gavi all of last season and I'm about to say it again, it this forum would just stop over reacting to every little thing.

He's being played out of position, gundogan is no #10, which is basically what he's been asked to do.

But with a box Midfield either he or gavi will always be player out of position, which will have an undoubted Impact on his play.

Fans where telling us how shit gavi was last season and wintz is 5x better, comparing an attacking Midfielder to a central midfielder being played out of position.

Drop him back to Midfield like with gavi and you'll see a completely different player, but someone has to suffer for the overall team and it's gonna be him/gavi.

Anyways back to your over reacting ways, dude doesn't go from top 3-5 Midfielder in the world to meh is 3 months lol, he has to quality to eventually adapt but it will take time.


Question is what's Xavi gonna do once pedri comes back.

De jong, pedri, gavi, Felix, gundogan, he's gonna have some tough choices to make.

Gavi was poor last season much more than folk wanted to admit and wasnt even close to likes of FDJ.

Folk later came round to that and admitted he 'dipped'.

Then same folk claimed Gundo better than FDJ etc...wrong.

There is no tough choice when it comes to FDJ. He is first name down in team and best player.

'Over reacting' is claiming Gundo is best mid at club.. Gavi better than FDJ last season..Kessie best mid in 2022 when signed etc.

I mean sure but city is a monster team. Not saying he will never get a winner or a clutch assist - he's just one of those top class players that is world class consistently in a proper system. In a chaotic shit show it'll be harder for us to see him for the level of player he is.
