Lucho NO, someone else with a coaching licence SI.

Eusebio's time to shine.

We should beg Tata to come back. Anyway, in terms of coaches, there is Juan Antonio Pizzi who coached Valencia from last winter until Jorge Mendes's man was put in charge instead. As far as I remember he did well with them. He was also successful with San Lorenzo. He's a former Barca player as well.

I don't want us to sack him now but I do think that its best that this be his only season here. Its almost mid-November and Lucho has been exposed as being tactically weak. I don't think he'll randomly find the formula to make the team work or if he does it'll be too late.

There is absolutely no way I see us winning CL with him this season but La Liga is still attainable. The only problem is we lost it by a thread last season. The points we've lost already and will continue to lose if we don't make changes will screw us over at the end.

I don't always overreact so early into the season, but when I do it's because of Lucho. I say sack him today! This team could probably play better without a coach than with Lucho.

Bring back Roura? :p

In all seriousness, Lucho should be fired. I'm sure the club has a fail safe lined up in terms of managers. But then again, this is Barto & Zubi we're talking about.

He got a week to fix things. And by fix things I mean drop his sub-standard tactics.

Don't think we'll win CL this season, it's gonna be very difficult. The league we can kiss goodbye if Lucho remains as stubborn and clueless because with games coming up against Sevilla and Valencia, there is no way in hell we'll come out with 6 points or atleast 4 with the way we're playing.

And the Copa del Rey? We'll most likely meet either Atletico or Real Madrid in the QFs I think.

Pep kind of screwed us over as well, people like to blame the board for it but supposedly he was tired of working at top level then rejoins another European powerhouse in Munich. after his sabbatical. Guy was supposed to be our Ferguson, saw things going down hill and captain jumped the sinking ship.
Im extremely gratefull for all he did but I don't see the point in managing another European powerhouse other than for his own ego and to have a change in scenery like he did as a player. His own choice and I respect it of course but still a little dissapointed in his decision to bail when the going got tough.

You're godamn right

He should be sacked...in winter. If things dont get better that is. Which they wont soo maybe sack him imidately? He has done NOTHING to make me or any Barca fan feel this team can achieve anything. Im sure players like Xavi, Messi and Suarez saw right through him...

Anyway, he wont last long. The look on Zubis face last two games show a man who is thinking "I've made a huge mistake...". Even that brain dead dumb fuck good for nothing sees it now.

Worst thing about Lucho is that he spent whole lot of money on whole lot of nothing (except suarez). I would rather he hadnt spent money considering his mental abilities and tactical know hows.

Yes I think so, I think waiting will just make the situation worse like it was with Manchester Uniter under Moyes. His chance to start showing improvement was weeks ago, but we're getting worse and worse for each passing game. I really, really doubt he can turn this ship around. And if he has indeed lost the lockeroom already (record?), then it's definitely no point.

His tactics right now are so bad that they seem almost intentionally set up to make us play like crap, the system is just plain destructive. As ZenI says, it's almost at the point where I think we would play way better if the players just started to disregard his orders and improvised everything instead...

I voted no. Only reason being the timing, we cant afford to look for another coach right now. Obviously they need to find a replacement for the future, but right now I think it's best not to jump the gun.
Times are hard.....T_T

If we were to fire him, I'd be ok with Xavi being a player-manager just so we won't make this mistake in 3-4 yrs. Better to see how Xavi can be tactically then pulling a Lucho 2.0 in 2018 and we complain about the same thing we're complaining about now.
