The better question to ask is when will it be time to sack him. There's no way that doing it immediately will render a positive outcome. There needs to be some more time for it to not be pre-emptive and so that a proper replacement can be lined up. The winter break is a good turning point and gives enough time for Lucho to either sink further or pull out a miraculous turnaround. People may have given up on this season and trophies in general before 2016 but I maintain that it does not have to be a failure. The squad we have is good enough that some simple but crucial adjustments could turn things around and build us to elite form.
Firing and hiring managers repeatedly isn't a good thing but it's smarter to know a lost cause than to try and sail a sinking ship. I don't have faith that the board would approach it like this but *ideally* the candidates would be grilled heavily to present a plan/system to the sporting staff/administration (maybe even Xavi/Puyol as they are the link between players and staff). Obviously this is far too optimistic since those listening (Zubidoo, Barto, etc.) haven't a clue about judging what is good or bad sporting wise.
