did his job excellently once again. was laughing at the al jazeera pundits hating on him saying he didn't do shit all night in terms of beating his man and taking shots on goal. well that wasn't his job you idiots. anyway, very pleased with him, works hard in defense and seems like he's listening to pep's every instruction
We haven't watched the same game.

Trequartista

The good
Cuenca is very disapointing. Not because he isn't playing well, far from that. But just like Thiago there simply isn't any magic in him.
He'd be a great player at any other team in la liga besides us and Madrid but I just don't see him being anything more than a good squad player if he continues playing the way he is.
Tello is just so much better.
like Thiago no magic in him?
he has done very well today, look at the way he is stretching the field and how xavi and Co are distributing more balls to him than nearly anyone else to know that the team and Pep trust him
him and Tello are completely different players....

Thought he had a much better 2nd half...He was the least impressive player in the 1st half but helped open things up after the half...I like Isaac, a lot...I just think he hadn't been playing enough and lost a lot of the momentum he built up in the first half of the season...He's a keeper

really good game for me. didn't get the most touches of the ball in the team, but once he got a touch he was always going towards goal - threatening the defense and had a few good balls into the box, easily could have assisted 3 today

Actually while watching the game i was thinking he DID get alot of time with the ball, most of the play going through him atleast once

Absolutely not.

In Cuenca you have a good young winger who has some potential to maybe one day be as good as David Villa.
In Valencia you have the player Cuenca hopes to be in a few years.

We need to stop hyping our youths.

Bojan

he's a pure winger, but never a Villa. David is a natural goal scorer that Cuenca might never be like.

but for comparing him with Valencia, too early but Isaac has everything to be better than him soon

Hopefully you are right.

People seem to think that I want the worst for our youth products.
It's just expectations and reality don't often overlap.

I think he did well, he plays a very direct way, by attacking the full back and getting in crosses, which we don't always make the most of as our general attacking is through the middle, but if we can get someone on the end of the crosses, he has many assists in him.
