Do they have a buy-out clause? I hope not...

Cuenca is so much mroe talented than Tello. I hope he breaks the jinx for the players loaned out. And I have confidence that he would

Well,he did it once,remember?
he was loaned to Sabadell for the 2010-2011 season, and came back next season and became first team player who get starts in CL quarter and Semi-finals

This is a great move. I think he has the potential but right now he can't prove himself at Barca. He should excel at Ajax and then Tito will have to consider him as a first team player for us.

Does Ajax have tall forwards? If yes wont he have to put a lot more aerial crosses into the box? Which is bad for us as we dont have tall forwards and need on the ground crosses

Hello, I'm a big Ajax-fan and I can tell you most people (including me) are really excited to see Cuenca play for us. I've always liked Barcelona for their similar playstyle and the history we share together (Cruyff, De Boer, Overmars, Kluivert, Davids and many more), so whenever Barcelona plays I always support them (except if they would play Ajax ofcourse ;)).

Going through this topic, I can see that Cuenca is regarded as a really big talent. I am really curious to see what Cuenca could add to our club.

Goodluck in the competitions and don't forget to kick Real Madrid's ass. :barca scarf:

Is he included in today's squad??

He wasn't as he just arrived in Amsterdam yesterday. He'll start training with the 1st team squad today and probably get his first minutes sunday in the home match against Roda JC.

If he is as talented as everyone thinks he is, he'll have no problems gaining a spot in the starting line-up at the right wing. His competitors at the right wing are Derk Boerrigter who lacks form, Jody Lukoki who's a juvenil A graduate from last year and Tobias Sana, a Swedish winger who prefers playing on the left (like Derk Boerrigter).

Ajax has 1 main striker, SIgthorsson, a tall and strong Icelandic 'Huntelaar' type just recovering of several injuries. Mainly, Siem de Jong, a classical number '10' is playing the striker role at the moment, trying to cpy the Messi-role.
