Cuenca, who played on loan at Ajax since January, will have to undergo another knee operation. Expected to be out for 3-4 months. [sport]

:( With all these injury problems, I'm afraid his future at Barca is likely over. Can't stay fit and will definitely not break into the team over the likes of Tello, Neymar, Pedro, Alexis, and Deulofeu.

This kid can't catch a break. Horrible news for him.

This. :(

Seems like his Barca career is finished, unfortunately. Neymar and Tello are better than him, and Deulofeu has a lot more potential. Not to mention those injury problems... really sucks for him. :(

I hope his career is not over, and he recovers from this. Surely at Barça he has no chance now :(

Poor guy, when he first broke through to the first team I thought he had a lot of potential to be a future star in Barca. And now it's down to this. Hope he can recover & rediscover himself somewhere.

I wouldn't say his career is over, but it definitely is at Barca :(

He's too injury prone, and we have 3 prospects up front better than him (Tello, Neymar, Deulo)

Btw, didn't Muniesa get screwed over by injuries in a similar way?

Yep. People tend to forget that he was actually better than Tello when they both came into the first team. That injury gave him a major set-back, such a shame.

Barçapocalypse NOW!
This sucks... Had big hopes on the guy...

I can only wish him a speedy recovery and hope that he can be the player I expected him to be...

So annoying, I remember when he broke into the team I was SO impressed with how well he positioned himself to stretch opposition defences and how well he read the game for his age, not to mention his dribbling. Would be a real shame if his Barcelona career is over. Selling him to Ajax (where he said he likes it) with a buyback clause is smart. If by season's end he plays very well and avoids injuries, bring him back on a cheap, if not, oh well, best of luck to him.
