Tottenham are considering signing winger Isaac Cuenca (22) on loan until June. Barcelona reportedly willing to pay half of wages. [metro]

Ajax is the better option, particularly since their style mirrors are own...Plus, the player was quite comfortable & happy there...Bigger issue is his knee as he continues to feel discomfort

I don't think he would find the time that he personally would desire, he would be a bench player there. Tottenham has players on the wing, and i don't think they would trust him to return and IF he returns to a good form to be a starter.

Tottenham wouldn't be the best EPL option at the moment. Ajax is way better for him to regain fitness and have playing time, that of course when he totally gets rid of the knee discomfort. If an EPL move is inevitable, then Swansea city are the best option for me. Their football and coach make them a great option for him. Plus, less pressure playing for a team isn't going for the title or european places so he can get minutes.

Ajax and Tottenham asked for Isaac Cuenca, deal with Ajax was close, but winger in the end preferred to stay so he can fully recover. [ddt]

Will travel to Anoeta along with all other non-injured players. So, back in the match squad for the first time! Welcome back!

Poll: "Cuenca made a good decision by staying at Barça?" Yes 19% - No 81% #fcblive (2962 votes) [sport]

Damn, must be great being Cuenca and seeing those numbers lol.

I still maintain that if he has a good recovery and can start to get some playing time, he can prove to be a very valuable asset on the wings.

You are both interpreting the poll is a wrong way. The poll wasn't "do you want Cuenca to stay in January?" I assume most people voted no because everybody knows the second half of the season is money time. Every mistake will bite you in the ass and it just isn't the time to ease a player into the team who hasn't played for god knows how long. So yeah, they were probably right when they said he didn't make a good decision.
