Wait, Xavi has already confirmed to the players that he is leaving? I thought it was still on a rumor-level that he was leaving and nothing was confirmed. Very sad to see him go if true.

Also, notice how he said positioning practice has not been focused on with the "other coaches". He surely means both Tito and Tata. No wonder why the intense pressing and creation of space was missing in our squad.

Clockwise

Cuenca: "I've been injured for two years, it seemed like eternity, but I see light at the end of the tunnel now. I start believing again."
Cuenca: "I don't know Luis Enrique's plans, but I want to stay at Barça. I'd love to do at least the pre-season, so he can judge me." [ser]

yeah, I think we should give him another chance, imo there is a chance he can still make it...

Yeah. Messi getting a bit lazy too. There's rumors Tata was really old school. Never used videos or apps to help.

So what most of us suspected actually was true.

It was pretty obvious just by looking at all the open training sessions

Instead of doing preparation and work, it was dominated by clowns like Song, Alves, Pinto, Pique, etc. goofing around. Tata would just be walking around staring into space with his hands behind his back.

? There is only one open training session per year.

Part in bold is revealing... Tata really wasn't suited for the job. A bad choice of manager ruined the season.

You could see it in his body language even before we saw how poorly prepared the team was...The job was always too big and you have to question the criteria the board went by in selecting him in the first place..Due diligence would've shown he was the wrong choice from the start

They are also showing 15 minutes of official trainings before CL games, if I'm not mistaken.

I've read this in El Pais in his first weeks, but then we were not allowed to criticize the team because we were winning.

Old school?

Pretty much all old school coaches define their approach for training as "intense" , "disciplined" , "punctuality" as keys to matchday success. Tata neither had those nor innovation. Couldn't even motivate the players.

Tata's first move was abolishing the "penalty" system of Guardiola i.e if someone comes late in training he has to pay some penalty from his salary. Way to go.

Old school who stopped in time, and don't use modern things like videos or coaching apps to aid the coaching process. Not old coach by age.
