Isco

You're welcome
Yeah, but somehow people here think that the intent somehow changes everything. Because there was intent, somehow the tackle is much more dangerous than it otherwise would have been.

The tackle doesn't become more dangerous but the player does.
I wonder what people their opinion is on a referee's job. Is it to solely to judge situations invidiually, or take the rest of the game into consideration?
I am in inclined to believe the latter, because there are a lot of ocasions where repeated offenses are punished heavier.
Isco showed he had snapped and became a liability. Not only was he given a red card rightfully for that incident, but it also means you take away the possibility that he might do it again in the remainder of the game and this time seriously injure someone.

Calma, calma
It was a clear red and a dirty foul but no way does a kick to the knee alone cause a career threatening injury. Ligament tears are caused by impact with bodyweight level force applied to the knee at an improper angle (landing incorrectly or, as in Messi's recent injury, feeling an impact in the joint with a person's full weight behind it). I don't ever recall a knee ligament injury occurring in the non-planted leg of a player. Isco did catch Neymar at a bad spot but not nearly with that level of power. That's not to redeem him of his wrongdoing but it just shows he was being a frustrated cunt and not a genuinely malicious career-ender.

The reactions are over the top as well. Isco fouled him intentionally and was red-carded and should get a deserving suspension but now he's somehow the devil himself? lol. Our own players have made bad tackles in frustration or bad judgement, it's not uncommon. He just couldn't keep his cool and that's less than I'd expect from him.

The reactions are over the top because it was a cunt move done with no other intention but to cause hurt. Simply because he couldn't handle being dicked around. It just shows impotence and inferiority on his part.

Isco (Real Madrid): "Red for cowardly kicking Neymar? It's not something I'm proud of. That's not who I am, I hope it won't happen again."

All is forgiven, we wait you at Barca... as Roberto's sub:mou:
