Does Halilovic still play football?

And always remember his case, and his hype in all future cases.

Just look at how people went crazy in Halil's early days. The next Messi.

I agree, whilst he didn't exactly stand out, he wasn't horrific.

Wasn't terrible but was just what you expect from him, Middle of the road.

Did his usual job and didn't really offer anything on the creative side.

The issue isnt him performing bad, its just high opportunity cost. He is taking 1 of 3 key spots in our midfield, and there are alternatives out there that can do a much more impactful job

I thought he did well today holding down the midfield and the right flank defensively, not as bad as many people said at all.

Rakitic has rarely been creative since he joined us, I am not sure if that is due to his lack of such abilities or his role under Luis Enrique made him so. He was one of the most creative players in La Liga before joining us.

Who? That we can get?

I wasn't for him being here from day one & we can do better, but in this market with this board I can't see us improving on him much.

He is the least of our problems in midfield.

Emery played him as a #10 during most of the time and he succeeded in that role very well.

But the #10 position doesn't exist here and even if it did Messi would likely be the one in that role. I remember he made a comment during the 2014/15 season he mentioned he was use to players covering for him at Sevilla but over here he was the one that had to defend. since his role was mostly to cover for Alves.

Really can't wait till he's sold. Slowest footballer alive, you can afford it when you have Messi, Neymar and Suarez on form, but with one gone and the other injured/off form, nope. Need another CM asap.
