Goes on loan for 2 years, Sevilla have the option to buy afterwards for €6m, Barcelona can block the purchase by paying €9m. It is a dumb clause that should not exist, but it's not totally hopeless.

It does give incentives to Sevilla to play and develop Suarez; Barca can always allow the purchase if they don't have Suarez in their plans, and also, at the end of the day, Suarez can flat out refuse to stay at Sevilla and there is nothing Sevilla can do about it, regardless of the buy option.

Yeah he isn't which is great IMO. I just wanted to say that Xavi will probably leave which means that our style of play will change (maybe to a more direct way) and I can see Rakitic succeed in such a system.
