I think 18 mil is a good price for a player like him. Dont know how he will end up here even if fails we didnt pay much so I dont care. I think he cant be worse than cesc.

Versatile players who does what you ask of him. Can cover both Xavi and Iniesta in 4-3-3, Can play as a DM and even a RM in a 4-2-3-1 so he give us a lot of tactical versatility. Can shoot from range, dribble, very good passer both long and short, but I really like what he can provide on corners and free kicks; he's really good with both.

He's already a much better fit on this squad than Cesc simply because Cesc doesn't seem to be a player cable of coming off the bench and having an impact because he's not very versatile and doesn't bring much defensively. Rakitic is the opposite.

So in your mind Xavi should play another season? Or you expect our new youngsters to take over? Rakitic has experience on top level something our youth lacks. He will push Xavi right the f out.
