The board spent a lot more on De Jong than
expected, they will definitely use Rakitic(whenever they sell) to cover as much possible.

Also considering the fact that if De Jong is valued at 90M, I expect them to fetch at least 50-60M for Rakitic.

I bet it will be way over 60 mil! With De Jong here he should definitely be sold next summer. If PSG wants him 90 mil is a fair price! :lol:

I don't think anybody will be paying 60m for our Rakitic. Even at 40m it would be a hard sell, considering his age.

I actually don't want him to leave but if there is a decent offer then yes.

Always a bit iffy to sell older players, sometimes there is real interest and sometimes clubs agree to sell for small fees just to get rid of the usually big wages older players earn.

If we want to sell it'll depends on what clubs are interested, i could see anything from like 30 to 60M happen. Probably not worth it to sell for a small fee unless we really want to being in Rabiot in too.

Absolutely. Me neither. I have hard time imagining clubs paying 60m for him.

Would rather keep a reliable mid than sell cheap.

Look I rate Rakitic more than 90% of people here but next summer is the last chance we can cash on him. FDJ will be here and if Alena can continue to perform like he did agains Leganes I would't think twice about selling him. He was a great soldier for the club but it's time to move on. That beeing said I definitely wouldn't sell him bellow 40 mil.

Yup, if Rakitic is willing to accept the bench role more regularly (I am sure there will be times we will need him, even to be starters). The only problem might be his wage (I have no idea how much).

Rakitic is one of my favorite players of ours. Don't want him to leave.

I sincerely doubt he would accept the bench role. Not to mention he requested a raise. I bet we'll sell him.

It was clear from day one. And the best of all is the fact that PSG will have to offload a huge amount of money if they still want to sign him. :lol:
