I used to be a big Rakitic fan back in the day because he was always working so hard etc. Today, I'm not sure what he is doing. He is just shit.

He is so bad that even he knows it and is trying to hide, scared of the ball. He wants to start every match but dont want to do anything. He DOES NOTHING!!! like seriously he is just there and nothing more. A visible ghost. I mean how many of our starter is even good enough for a team like chelsea, Sevilla or Arsenal. I dont even think he can get into Sevillas start 11 and we are fucking using him in the biggest team on the planet. Him and Suarez needs to get the fuck out of barcelona even if its for free.

Ya'll are clueless, he was clearly our 2nd best midfielder on the pitch today. I seriously don't think ya'll watch football. Busquets and him kept what composure we did have with possession. Vidal, Coutinho, Suarez--losing the ball cheaply. Lenglet wasn't too good either.

I hope this is a joke. Every time he tried to play forward he lost the ball in pathetic fashion. This is who Rakitic is: a guy who takes 0 risks because he knows there's almost 0 chance him taking a risk will benefit the team.
You're a joke to call this fraud a good player. But there's even worse, for example you telling us that Rakitic is better than Arthur.

And the favorite player of late (and I like him a lot, Arthur) takes a lot of risks or penetrating play? No not really. Or Busi? A little bit more but also not known for his creativity in the final 3rd. I'd rather a player make the smart play most of the time. In this match he was in trying to do runs and supporting the attack, along with him and Busi being the anchor in controlling possession. He was far from one of our poor, or more ineffective, players out there. I was surprised he was sharper and had more gas than Vidal honestly. I thought we would have played Alena with these two sharing minutes. We missed Arthur more from the fact we had to play Vidal instead of him, I don't think Vidal/Arthur/Busi would have fared better that what we saw, though Raktitic/Arthur/Busi quite possibly would have been better.

I'm with ya. Suarez was our best striker on the pitch today. And Coutinho was the our best LW on the pitch today. And Rakitic was our best Croatian on the pitch today as well. Spoilt fans amirite?

I honestly hope this was the last time Valverde played Busi-Raki-Vidal midfield. They just don't work together at all!!! With Arthur out we should try to incorporate Alena and Coutinho in midfield. Busi-Raki-Coutinho or Busi-Raki-Alena or Busi-Vidal-Alena or Raki-Vidal-Alena I don't care but for the love of God don't use those three together EVER AGAIN!!!
