I mean its quite possible his mind wasn't in the right place..I am not saying this is exactly why but it could be....after all this "will he won't he" shit with Neymar and the board.....its been quite a horrible transfer saga for several of our players if you think about it with not one single side looking good coming out of this, maybe PSG at the end of it but thats for another day.

I mean we tried giving PSG, Coutinho, Dembele, Todibo, and Rakitic for Neymar and none of them wanted to go and we pissed off Coutinho which led him to go to Bayern instead and I'm sure Rakitic is probably feeling pretty miffed right now.
I feel bad for Todibo the most out of that group, the guy came here and rejected other offers because we offered him a good plan and performed great when he played, only for the club to try and use him as a bargaining chip even though he would get more minutes here than at PSG.
People have quite the opinions on the players we tried giving them but I don't blame them for being pissed off for the club to try and use them as bargaining chips.

This window started so well with Griezmann and Frenkie, but things look so bad right now. No depth in attack, ton of injuries, five points behind Atleti, tough Cl group, Coutinho gone on loan, and now a bunch of pissed off players as well.

If Semedo will continue to perform like he did in attack (and there is no reason for him to improve), Bob could soon return to a RB as a starter, or at worst: very often.
That means 5 midfielders: Busi, Frenkie, Arthur, Raki, Vidal.
Add 1 injury and that is already only 4 midfielders available.
Samedo looks better and better at RB

Valverde won't be fired because he's dominant in the league. If we could count on Real Madrid actually winning a game or two like they used to he'd have been gone a long time ago.

Anyway, I'm pissed all 3 components of the Anfield midfield humiliation are still here despite the fact the club wanted Rakitic gone and wouldn't have minded if Vidal left (for 20 mil).
