Rakitic is the guy who went to party day after the Liverpool humiliation, taking pictures and smiling. Sure, enjoy your life but try to stay out of pictures and public eye when you were embarassed fucking one day ago... Looks like he gave a shit about the game and Barca. Little common sense wouldn't kill.

What's wrong having a life outside your job, what's wrong celebrating other team success specially if that's your friends team. What's wrong if he posted it in social media, it's not like you celebrate the win of the team that beat you

This is one of the most ridiculous replies I've seen on this forum. That's not the point. It shows the player doesn't care much about the loss. John Terry needed extensive therapy after the 2008 CL loss, Messi cried after the 2012 CL exit and was hiding in his house for weeks after the loss, after 2014 WC Mascherano was devastated.

It shows the player is not that invested in winning. It shows the player doesn't care much about getting humiliated. The hunger is not there. You just got blown out 8-2. It's worse than getting swept in an NBA playoff series, it's worse than losing 49-0 in an NFL playoff match. Every other team in every other sports organization would go through a major squad overhaul after shit like this.

A sport is not a fukin job, it's a career. A very short one at that compared to other career fields. You only play at the top level for about 15, max 20 years. Every year counts.

Simply put, he doesn’t give a fuck... And so does he plays!

I agree with this. Good points.

Terry missed a penalty to win the CL and Messi missed a penalty to most likely put Barca into final.

There is a big difference in the personal blame they would have put on themselves for those losses.

Rakitic won?t feel like that even if he should have been more mindful of how that video comes across.

This is something he should keep to himself instead of announcing to the whole world via social media.

No problem with it otherwise. He has to go but we've known that for a long time.

Honestly he gotta do what he wants, he is one of the most hated players in recent times by his own fans for whatever reason, he is damned for just being here. So good for him enjoying his time and keeping ties with fans that actually appreciate hum.
Never mind, he is one foot out of the club already.

That's all fine, but be discreet after a humiliation.

Taken out of a context, he jumped in a pool big deal. However, the truth is Rakitic has been earning millions a year whilst dropping mediocre to shit performances for a couple years. Fans pay good money to travel around Europe to watch over-paid stars get thrashed in Rome, Turin, Liverpool, Paris etc with barely any squad members acknowledging their disgusting performances year in year out.

Alba tells us fans are spoilt, Rakitic gets to enjoy a nice party without a care in the world the day after people spend a lot of money to watch them serve up that shite. This year the club is in ruins with dire performances, boardroom turmoil and a historic thrashing. The only form of emotion they see from him is glee that a club in the same league as him have won the cup. Part of Barca's problem now is the lack of character and players who genuinely care for the club and that lack of fight is reflected on the pitch.

In summary, another over-paid mercenary who needs rid off a.s.a.p .
