He was sold because he was shit in his last years , a disaster in CL and a leech in the same time . He was demanding/asking ,,presi " for a new contract every chance he got to speak in public. There is a reason why no tier 1 team wanted him and why he's in Sevilla now and not in a top 10-15 team even though he was given up for peanuts ( 3,5 mil ) .

Him, Valverde, and Suarez were blamed the most for the CL humiliations on here. Then we lost 8-2 to Bayern with Valverde gone and Rakitic on the bench.
