100 million is a lot but then again we spent more than that on Dembele, Coutinho and Griezmann. I haven?t watched him enough to form a solid opinion but more times than not these big money players have been flops.

It must be 10m, not 100m, right?

Grealish would turn La Liga upside down .

He has more natural talent than Depay for sure plus he creates more and rarely messes up the final ball .

Yet he didn't do shit until 26 years of age. A late bloomer perhaps?

Wrong. He has been famous (though not as famous as he is now) for several years now. He could've moved to a stronger team in his early 20s, but stuck with his team because he was determined to bring them to the premier league. He was then the main reason the team ended in midtable instead of barely surviving relegation like most newly promoted teams do.

real and city were fighting for him in his early 20s, but grealish was having none of it.

so turned the championship upside down then?

I forgot, being deliberately obtuse and confrontational is a hobby of yours. My bad, everyone but 2008-2012 barcelona is shit. Carry on then.

mate, i don't shit on the guy. just think he isn't worth that much and don't find him exceptional.

also, he seems to be the classic type of english player that isn't willing to leave his comfort zone.

you can't argue that if he was the dogs bollocks, many clubs would have jumped on him 5-6 years ago. probably because he pulled some stupid shit outside the pitch?

anyway, it's city's money not mine.

You guys clearly do not know what you are talking about here , to be fair .

He has been brilliant since he was a teenager - he was unfortunately with a very poor struggling team and when they did eventually get relegated he stayed with them instead of jumping ship - then more or less carried them back to the PL . He is been carrying them for the last 6 years or so . He?s a born and bred Villa lad who has just got to the stage where if he?s gonna be an England STARTER - he has to move to a top team .

I was half joking. He's good but nowhere near 100m worth imo. His fee is highly inflated by the fact he's English.

And if he would be Spanish guy playing for a midtable La Liga team similar to Villa he'd be worth much closer to 10m than 100m, that was my point.

Jack Grealish has welcomed Jose Mourinho claims that the Aston Villa captain reminds him of Portugal legend Luis Figo.

I do not like making comparisons, especially with a Golden Ball winner, but Grealish reminds me of my Figo, Mourinho told talkSPORT.

Figo, I had him in different periods in my career but I had him in his last season as a player at Inter Milan and even in his last season he was like, give me the ball and I will resolve the problems for you

The way Grealish gets the ball and attacks people, gets fouls, gets penalties, he is very powerful, I like him very much.
