This is more of an indictment on the bundesliga rather than just sancho himself

this is an indictment on Manchester United first and foremost given that 90% of their signings from the past 10 and more years flopped, irregardless of which league they came from. And this includes domestic PL signings.

The issue is them, not the clubs or leagues they buy from. You can use that excuse for patterns with 2-3 flopped signings, but not when you look back at a decade of years of players turning to shite once they wear your shirt.

haven't a majority of Dortmund (Dortmund duds) players flopped leaving the Bundesliga to other clubs over the last 10 years?

Nuri Sahin
Shinji Kagawa
Henrik Mhkitaryan
Ousmane Dembele
Sokratis
Yarmolenko
Jadon Sancho - so far

Meh:
Aubameyang
Pulsic

Havent flopped:
Gundogan

I think if United stick with OGS then next summer or maybe the year after someone is going to get a bargain deal. Maybe Liverpool, if they have to replace Salah or Mane, or maybe even City is Sterling leaves.

From that list the only ones that didn't go to United and flopped were Sahin and Dembele.
I mean yeah, idk whats up with "Sokratis & Yarmolenko", but they weren't exactly highly rated players at Dortmund to begin with and weren't doing notably worse at their new clubs than they did before at Dortmund.. Pulisic also is a bigger player now at Chelsea now than he ever was at Dortmund.

I dont know why but in dortmund a lot players play better than at other clubs. Especially offense players look great there but struggle at another club.

PS: Schoen dich wieder hier zu sehen Yannik, tauch ruhig hauefiger wieder auf barcaforum auf

A lot of those players moved clubs after united as well and were still disappointing. Sokratis was rated at the time although still at the tail end of his career. Yarmolenko was probably more meh than under performing so we can move him out of there. Wasn't really going for just hyped players but players in general who under performed compared to their Dortmund level.

Yes and it ain't close

Umtiti was once the best CB in La Liga. Emphasize on WAS.
By the time Sokratis moved to Arsenal, he was 30 and hasnt played an acceptable performance in years at that point. It'd be surprising if a player like him in his peak would've went to Arsenal out of all the possible destinations.

He left past his peak
2016-17 Sokratis was the best CB in the league however that's true

I don't think he'd work under Klopp if the idea is to replace Salah/Mane. City, ironically, would suit him. See Mahrez

Sancho just doesn't suit the 'United way', he'd be more suited to a La liga team as opposed to the PL imo. I do still believe in him though, he will come good and the minutes he's been given thus far is a disgrace from Ole.. he won't repeat his Bundesliga numbers but he still has huge talent
