La Liga is a union of 42 clubs, if a club decides to not act rightfully, it means it hurts the brand and the other 41 clubs.
If Valencia says they don't ban the fans, it hurts other clubs. It can push sponsors and fans away, make financial loss to everyone.
Every league has disciplinary power over their clubs, which was agreed by them in advance anyway, so La Liga didn't act. They just said empty words.
What happened to those 8 "thugs" football wise? is it a public knowledge? Has any of clubs who chanted racist stuff get punished by Liga? doesn't seem so and he doesn't address it.
He is just acting like it is something that should be dealt internally, when it shouldn't be. Vini has every right to reject those silly meetings Tebas is inviting him for

Well yeah, Vini is targeted because of a combination of the way he plays, being dislikable on the pitch and the opposition fans trying to put off Madrids most dangerous player.

But that doesn't excuse the racial insults, and the ones that went on afterwards outside the stadium were disgusting.

There's been racial insults over the last few years in Serie A and Premier League, so this is not exactly exclusive to Spain. The only thing exclusive was the reaction of Tebas to try and brush it under the carpet like he just took up Tai Chi.

When the top is passive in it's reaction to racism then it is going to keep repeating. For now though, LaLiga looks like amateur hour.

Slur is a slur. It's intention is always the same. Don't see why there should special attention to one kind and normalization of other. Ultra fans showing middle fingers and shouting obscenities at other teams players is norm in big crowd spectacles. If one cannot handle that, better learn to play chess, snooker or table tennis. Also Vinicius is way more dangerous and he has already shown to get riled up quickly. In a twisted way the fans "respect" his footballing level and know the team would hurt way more if they can get him to wind up. Not so much with Camavinga.
