Yeah, there's no scenario he will play under Valverde. What are the chances Umtiti, Pique/Lenglet, Vermaelen and Murillo will all be injured at the same time?

Well, Umtiti and Vermaelen are already injured so he would need only one more injury to get into the match squad.

he could reinforce the B team until we need him, and he can get used to life / culture of the team for maybe the next season when murillo leaves and vermaelen

Don't get your hopes up with Umtiti at least and Verm will be Verm.

Umtiti will come back and probably still be feeling pain and the season is over for him then as he would likely get the surgery.

Looking really composed for an 18-year-old in only his second professional match.

I want to see how good his 1v1 defending is most of the time.

I would love to have a tall RCB that is not only good on the ball but also someone that is physically imposing and very hard to beat in 1v1 duels while having a little bit of pace as well. I hope Todibo could be that guy down the line if he ends up proving his talent here.

In fact, we are still a bit short in defense because our left footed CBs were also supposed to be partly backups for Alba too. The Barca B players are obviously not good enough. If Alba gets a lengthy injury spell, I guess its Lenglet or Roberto at LB.

Don't remind me with that LB situation, I still don't get what Abidal was thinking when we entered the season with that defense.
Back up LB is likely going to be (in on order):
-Vermaelen (in the 4 weeks he is gonna be healthy in the season).
-Wague/Miranda. The former is RB but comfortable in LB position too and far more experiences than Miranda, so I suspect he might play the position.
-The veterans (Lenglet/Semedo/Umtiti/Roberto)
-343 like we used with Semedo & Roberto out.
