I think he's overrated.

He's almost 21 and has played 34 games including the B team. In comparison Riqui Puig who never plays has 75 games at the same age.

Jesus is also the manager that played Bernardo Silva at LB so I would not trust his judgement too much. I think there is a lot of potential in Todibo simply due to his ballplaying skills and athleticism, but it does seem he bought into his own hype instead of improving. He's got a long way to go but I would sell him with a buy-back.

He's also been injured basically since he has arrived to Benfica so he didn't have any chance to convince JJ to change his mind about him.

perception over mingueza and araujo is skewed anyway, because of the current squad level. people hype them up too easily after seeing lenglet doing stupid shit.

my opinion is that neither those 2 are barca starter material. just compare them to what we had since 2006 in defense.

there are many things to take into consideration with young players as current circumstances are out of the ordinary. there is no crowd pressure, there isn't pressure to win a trophy for the current team, politics and economics are also playing a part and to top it all off we have only one(umititi is a wreck and lenglet was bought as rotation option) starter CB in pique who is also ageing and injured.

Well, none of our CBs are exactly starter quality. Pique is when he is focused, which is not often. Pique would need someone fast and strong as a partner because he is slow to turn and weak in 1vs1.

They were playing against a 3rd division team. I still don't think he'll play much at Benfica. JJ prefers Vertonghen and Otamendi and they've just bought Lucas Verissimo from Santos.

learn to read dawg. Araujo has potential to be one of the best CBs, he is a gem imo. Mingueza is a back-up, Oleguer-style. Both are good enough to have around.
