Not really into the idea of going after a prospect for the future midfield right now. Focus should be on getting an established and experienced world class mid.

Seri will be 26 in a couple of weeks, so I don't think you can really call him a prospect anymore. In any case, I don't think he's a player we should be looking at.

But if it's true that Gomes is staying, and knowing that Barcelona also has Rakitic. Then they should buy a really good creative CM to fill Iniesta's spot.

Doubt that's possible, especially since we need an RB too. And I think Verratti's fee will be higher than the 100m we offered, even if we do manage to get him.
I'm not too fussed about him tbh, guy's almost 26 and had one good season. I don't think it'll be the end of the world if we miss out on him.
