Than you create packed lines that can't be penatredet so easily. Then and only then we can talk about individual defendeing quaility. For example: if our defender is missing tackles, not reading the game, or our mid is losing all the duels, and so on...but if we play 3 vs 5 or 6 when defending then you can have 3 of the best defenders in the world and you'll be bypassed easily.
