he did fit right in.. he had other problems too besides the fact that his form in second half of the season fell incredibly, and he was pretty consistent in that regards over the years.

Fab was useless to breathe life into the midfield. His short passing game sucked ball and he's one of the slowest players ever. Seri is much more similar to Xavi than Fabregas ever was. Back then people thought just because he had a great eye for the final pass, he'd fit like a glove in midfield.
