Makes sense. As I said I think Seri is a backup plan for Coutinho in Iniesta position and Paulinho will be a competition for Rakitić. Don't know where Gomes fits in Valverde's plans and Roberto will probably be used as DM and RCM.

i am not sure if it has been tried much to get to that conclusion. I think he has got every single trait to be successful there. Some one like him in no 6 role perhaps, may actually turn out to be better than him at his current role.

Oh yes, lets forget paulinho altogether, but someone like macherano in that role ? or going for eric dier perhaps ?
