It's an interesting departure from the profile of player they've been signing recently. He's basically Sterling but with the ability to cleanly strike a football.

He's nowhere close to Prime Sterling and his end product.

Also, different profiles too

I don't think City wanted this transfer this early. He is more raw than his price tag, but then again, who else was there on the market this close to end?

Olise already ruled himself out, who City were interested in.

Barcola is probably better, but a bit less experienced and similar price tag. Plus as soon as a bid goes in, PSG will match it.

If he turns out a top player Barca will claim wante him and he wanted to come but couldnt afford him.

Ignoring spent 120m odd on RWs that are not that 1v1 threat that team lacks outwide.

Well done to him. Pep knows how to incorporate these limited "system" players.

Feel jealous of stability, organisation and long term planning City has under Catalan leadership.

Pretty much this. They took our stuff and prepared ground for guardiola to come.

the difference is, Barca has always been run by politicians (often corrupt politicians), man city is not, probably a lot more comfortable for Pep to work there
