Still, he was our 3rd best Cb and our only option when we needed depth.

Bartra is Bartra and we can't seriously count on him.
Vermaelen was injured the whole Season.

Mathieu helped a lot last Season in decisive CL matches and in the last 10-15 rounds of La liga.

He has flaws, but even now, he is our 3rd best Cb.

As long as our offense makes more goals than we concede we will win the games. And our attack has the best potential of doing that.
That is, if Neymar is playing.

I think it's almost certain Neymar will not be fit for Sunday.

I'm still confident the team can win convincingly. You have to remember that last night wasn't a normal game. It was a game we started 4-0 due to a dismal performance from youth players 4 days earlier. The Pique red card/terrible refereeing was the final nail in the coffin. Sunday we will have our strongest midfield and attack (bar Neymar) and the players will be out for blood.
