With Mascherano staying and Umtiti looking to be our next starting CB if given the chance to develop, and with Digne coming in to finally release us from the curse that is LB Mathieu, I see him getting benched next season.

He will get less minutes that's for sure. Maybe he will play Bartra role with Verm leaving aswell and Marlon maybe getting some first team action if he plays well.

Maybe at first, while Umtiti is adapting. But by the end of the season, I think Umtiti will have more minutes than Mathieu.

Mathieu will get some games next season but his role will be that of a squad player.

He will be okay with it as he's not a guy who would complain about the lack for playing time. His presence alone will help get Digne and Umtiti settled here.

7m? I'd take it. No reason why we shouldn't, really. Umtiti should be our 3rd choice and the quality of our 4th choice really doesn't matter too much in the longrun because of how low pressure any game they may play will be.

Vermaelen.He is the one who should go regardless the difference in offer we will get.Pique and Mascherano aren't getting younger and the 4th CB will probably get minutes this year.
