I laughed more than I should have hahah
It is quite different. Defenders tend to be cheaper and he is not wanted at BM, while Willian is a starter. Take into consideration that JB gets injured quite a lot.
Then why do BM want to sell him?
Think it's more of If they get a really good offer they won't stand in his way but if not he will stay. It's like us with Cillessen, we want him to stay but if we get a really good offer and he wants to go he can leave. Then why do BM want to sell him?
He's older, injury prone and has declined. Price is a joke, btw. I was only answering to 'starter' part.

In the grand scheme of things people would wonder why would Bayern consider selling him as he's one of the Best CBs in the world when in form? it comes down to his bad injury record as of recently and with him getting older and having players such as Sule in the wings I don't blame them.
Before the injuries he was the best CB in the world. Hype my ass.
Boateng was the best CB in the world around 13-15. Would be a good time for Bayern to sell him now.
