Ralf Rangnick & Julian Nagelsmann :hooray:

Both are great, but it will be weird transition in Barca.

Laporta is probably the last one to go that route. I don't see him as the type to try exotic things after having been successful with Pep and Rijkaard.

Rijkaard being Dutch and Barca having good experiences with Dutch is about as far as he'll go. No way he'll opt for two Germans with 0 connection to Barca.

Agreed. I could see Florentino Perez going to a more pragmatic data-driven model.

Seems more likely to me that Laporta would go with Overmars and perhaps keep Koeman until Xavi is ready. Koeman was his original first choice in 2003.

I don't buy it. Laporta's agenda in this current election campaign has been to pick on Real Madrid. Nagelsmann is definitely on their radar.

Reminds me of the David Beckham to Barca manoeuvre from his first campaign back in 2003 campaign.

Says the Laporta Champaign is working with Mateu Alemany, as a key member for the Sports Department.

The main points are.

-Renovation of Dembele is Key
-Reinforcements such as Eric Garcia, Gaya and a CF.
-Promote Konrad, Ilaix and Balde.

Laporta is stuck in the past. The club needs to rethink its philosophy. Too much emphasis on passing and technical skills is leaving us vulnerable in cl.
We have to be more pragmatic. Laporta needs to get rid of the deadwood asap.

If he thinks he can take this club back to the sixtuple year then he is delusional. His interviews have me worried that he will do more damage than good for this club. He has to let the seniors go and start with all youngsters if we have any chance of not being the next AC Milan.

He is not stuck in the past at all.Font is much more stuck in the past as him.Laporta is adaptable. His first great team, with Ronaldinho,Deco,Giuly and Eto'o was different from the one of Guardiola with Xavi,Iniesta,Messi.I don't understand how anyone can't give this man a chance. He is our greatest president ever.By far.No one deserves another chance like him.

I wonder how representative this forum is.
I understand more and more how they could side with Rosell and then Bartomeu
I guess it goes with the same mentality to be most against them when it then doesn't work out.

The club needs to go back to its roots, it needs to find it's style again.
Someone like Xavi needs should be brought, and he shoul have full trust and mandate.
Of course he understands that is what he needs, can't be half-arsed
