Bartomeu fucked us up in the first place...
yep, like nothing else... easily the worst president ever
Bartomeu fucked us up in the first place...
Doesn't matter, he resigned at the right time for his legacy and can spin this failure on Laporta
This is not about morally right or wrong, this is about common sense and prudent business practices. It is OK if we want to keep negotiating with CVC, but at the same time you don't put them under the bus in the fashion we did (by coordinating with Real Madrid and Athletic Bilbao to present the competing deal to drive CVC out) while negotiating with them, it is called bad faith and it puts us in an odd situation. Why don't we just try to get money from the likes of JPMorgan, Bank of America etc. instead, the ones who are behgind the Sustainable Project put forward by the three?
Badmouthing somebody while trying to get money from the same person, this is just stupid.
Don't worry, this is Bartomeu's legacy no matter how well or poorly Laporta does to fix it.
Said he would not support Super League, said we would keep Messi, said he would not join CVC deal, among many others...
He always ends up doing the opposite of what he promised...
Lol
Laporta asked Mino Raiola to wait and see if Bar?a can meet their demands for Erling Haaland. Mino agreed to do so before all other clubs.

I'm sure in his dreams he'll be the one who brings Haaland in to safe us, like he brought us Ronaldinho back in the day. There really is no one else who would have a similar effect besides Haaland and Mbappe right now. So it wouldn't suprise me they'll try everything they can to please Raiola.
And as much as i came to dislike these mega transfers with so many of them failing to meet the expectations, if there is a player worth it to go all out and build around it for pretty much every club then it is probably Haaland. The dude is just a monster.
That being said though, it'll most likely just stay Laportas wet dream and i'm kinda worried they then try to pull a random "big name" to compensate.
Well, in said story Beckham was his wet dream, who ended up at Real Madrid. Therefore, Ronaldinho was more of a "plan B". We'll be good if Haaland's plan B turns out like Ronaldinho. In the end, Ronaldinho was way more successful for Barca than Becks was for Madrid.
