I'm far from a Laporta fan and think his wrongdoings should be pointed out if for no other reason then to keep him in check like any responsible owners (Barca socios in this case) should do with people they have elected to represent them. We've seen this rarely works here though.

I especially don't like lack of transparency hidden behind "confidentiality clauses" that makes me think deals we've signed are not nearly as good as reported/leaked to the media.

Also, moving time of the return to Camp Nou also bothers me. If they would say from the beggining we will return at start of the 2025/26 season (which will probably happen) I would be fine with that. But don't make false promises you can't keep.

That said sadly he's still the best candidate for the job. Font is just a big mouth who would be clueless if he gets in the office.

Don't think it will happen but would like to see Txiki Begiristain/Ferran Soriano combination as a candidate in next elections. I think they would be much more qualified for the job than Font who has no experience working in a football club.

It is a shame Alemany left, I thought he would’ve stayed and 2023-24 would have gone way better for us. Shame this photo went in vain, greatest photo of all time.

Of course it's been that way. And he is right, it's not even a scandal anymore because it happens all the time.
There is one set of rules for them and another for the rest.

Seeing Laporta wasting hundreds of thousands of euros on bonuses now I have no doubt he could invest couple of k in a marketing agency. They wouldn't have to do much. Just post video examples and crunch the numbers and post all over social media.

He is a creature from the past though and his idea of innovation is probably dei hiring.
