When I was checking some stats I found that during Laporta's management Barca spent 40 million euros on average per year on signings.
That's a lower figure than Barca will be having this summer (45).
So the question is: If the club was left in an alarming state how come that just a year after Laporta the club can afford even more to spend?

Because we earn far greater revenues now than in Laporta's period (mostly thanks to Laporta and his board btw)

But the point against Laporta was never his spending on just wages and transfers but all sorts of other unneeded expenditures.

Anyone else still subscribe to the theory that Rosell is overplaying our financial 'plight' to undermine the previous regime? Not so sure i believe it personally though those who did gave some interesting arguments last year
