João Félix

Atleti are NOT budging, despite Bar?a and Mendes pushing to do a swap involving Griezmann and Joao Felix. They’d like a Antoine return and the player would be open to it as well, but operation looking unlikely.

He's not an Abdulrahman type virtuoso, but good thing with Felix is that he tries stuff, plays flashy and would even give Ricky a run for his money on Insta

Go for the swap and bring back T17 and raised the portcullis when Counts R7 and Bernardo Silva come in knocking to replace the rest of the French contingent

Laport move ur butt!!! Tic Tac Tic Tac ...

Atletico also know now we don't need the deal as all our signings are registered and Messi is solved.

So it takes away the bargaining power they had earlier in the window.

To be honest a swap makes sense for both sides. But if Atletico want Griezmann and also to keep Joe Felix, then fuck em. Maybe the cat has shown great things in training bit in official games he hasn't shown jack.

Why, if it is permanent deal it is an awesome one, even for free.
Griezmann makes more than his annual amortization number (24M per year, while being on 20M net salary or so?)
He is the highest paid player in the team, contract till 2024, he is 30 and awful. Cherry on the top is that it seems he has given up on the team based on last games

Well, financially you have a point.

But sporting wise losing Messi, Griezmann, Trincao from the front line and adding Depay, Aguero while Dembele, Ansu, Aguero himself are injured is painful.

Who would we even have to start the next game? Braithwaite is already a starter through lack of depth.

Demir, or even Puig.
Let's be honest, we are in there for top 4 finish this season. We will take the loss this year if it means we can splash money again in the market next summer.
I think we can achieve that without Griezmann, who has been our worst attacker this season.

So our front trio is Depay-Braithwaite-Puig/Demir for a few months. Do we even have a leftfooted attacker outside of Demir for example?

That might not be enough for a top 4 given Villarreal and Sevilla have invested wisely.

Not got a problem with losing Griezmann, not even so much if we sell Griezmann for a decent few and don't get Joao Felix. But I would like to see that the club have someone somewhat decent who they can bring in.

Juve just signed Moises Kean and won't be paying his transfer fee for two years, just as an example.

Can see us trying to go for him again in January once he realizes he is fourth choice behind Suarez, Correa and Griezmann. There is Cunha too.

That's for next game not few months.
Ansu will gain game rythm by the end of Sept, and then the lineup would be Depay-Ansu-Demir/Braith
And by the end of Oct the lineup would be Depay-Ansu-Dembele
