Joan Laporta

DonAK

President of FC Barcelona
The club need to be sold because every president that gets elected only thinks short-term and hire a bunch of their buddies.
Laporta has done the same. Back in 2003 he managed to put together a great team. This time it's a team full of retards.

In 2-3 years someone else will be elected and do the same while start all over again.

So that's why the club need to be sold.

One of the most failed presidential stints so far.
he is walf the way, if he keeps up like this or even worse, he might go down as worse than Barto
Not even close to Joan Gaspart era. I don't know if you were alive back then.

I was mate, and I became a Barca fan during the dark times, not when everyone was jumping on the success bandwagon.
Gaspart on sporting level has been maybe the worst stint up to now.
But there is also the financial level. Barto has been the worst on that front until now.
But if Laporta keeps the same shit up, we are in trouble of surpassing Barto by permanently crippling the club and stabilizing it in the 2nd tier of european football

Easiest job going.. win take credit.. fail blame the past.

The fact remains that the club sold the levers as being needed to make Barca competitive now as cant ever rebuild.

The money has been spent poorly and hundreds of millions been spent on a front line that was better off with before levers were even pulled.

Now Barc have the current situation as well as paying for it for decades yet and not been enough progress to justify it.

Laporta deservses criticism but wanting him out? Who is the alternative? Font lost his entire purpose since Xavi failed. We could end up with another Rosell's criminal.

That's the main issue. Was so even when we had Messi and economy was good. Elected presidents mostly look for short term results.
Madrid did well in last decade because they have a capable president with a vision. Everything comes from that. I have little hope in next manager ad long as incapable board is running the shots.

In contrast we have a whining, incapable manager and his brother who get to choose when to leave. Would never happen in Madrid. Club before players, don't care who you are.

Nice rebuilding job post Messi, one to be teached in school

This is not a correct narrative, the rebuilding of post Messi era started in 2017 with the signing of Dembele, then they signed Griezmann in 2019, both failed miserably to make an impact. Barto started talking about the post Messi era already back in 2016 when the guy had not even turned 30.

Bsically the only signing Barcelona has done in the entire Barto era that has made a real impact is Ter Stegen the rest has been failures save for Rakitic that was at best a wash. Guys like Andres Gomes, Arda Turan, Arthur Henrique, Coutinho, Vermalen, Umtiti, Malcom, Semedo, Lenglet, Paulinho, Yerry Mina, Lucas Digne, Mathieu, Marlon, Douglas and an endless laundry list of over hyped Masia players.

All utter failiures and criminally gross incompetence as far as signings go. The rot had started already back in 2015-16 season. Even during the Rosell era the signings were incompetent, especially towards the end of Guardiola era, and accelerated during Tito Vilanova and Tata Martino days.

And even during the first Laporta era there were a number of shockingly bad signings such as Chigrinsky, Ibrahimovic, Gudjohnsen, Ibrahim Affelay, alexander Hleb Maxi Lopez, Deomitio Albertini, Santiago Ezquerro, and on and on.

Definitely not. A GOALKEEPER aka TER CLOWN is irrelevant.
Its the players.

Its because they signed NEYMAR. and he left us,
They signed DEMBELE. And he couldn't handle the pressure,
They signed GRIZEMAN and he wasn't man enough to take control of the team from MESSI.

But it's okay cause in the end the ones to save the club will be LA MASIA.

Most probably LAMINE.

Don't quote me ever again, troll.a

I should slap you for that post.

You really haven'y been around for very long have you, Ter Stegen is the only player signing in the last decade and one of a handful of player signings FC Barcelona has done really since the 1990s that has had a real impact on the teams results on the pitch over more than say one or two seasons. The rest has been a complete embarrassment.

Since you like to use such childish language calling him Ter Clown, I'd like to remind you of the pedigree of FC Barcelona goalkeepers that has passed through the club and marveled the world, Guy Like Roberto Bonano, Rustu Resber, Phillipe Dutruel, Rudolf Hesp, Vitor Baia, Manuel Pinto, world class goalkeepers taht makes Ter Stegen look like and absolute mug ;)
